Okay, I have been using this keyboard/case for over 6 months now and I love it! I wanted one that had hard keys like a real keyboard and one that would support some short cuts like copy and paste. It is a bit pricy but I feel like it is worth every penny. It gets lots of use in my world as I travel a lot for business so it is my best friend when it comes to keeping up with emails and working on documents. There is nothing worse than trying to write emails with the on screen keyboard. I am a big fan of this keyboard and I will buy another one once I beat this thing into the ground.UPDATE! 09/11/2012Still using this keyboard and I still love it!!! Hasn't given me a bit of trouble.
So Close, but not perfect...Just a DJ
This is a great portfolio case. Quality all around... But, I agree with other reviews that the right Shift key is a little annoying. I think it's placed where it should be, but is smaller and therefore not as easy to hit. The whole keyboard is tight and I expected that and is something I could probably get used to.But the major flaw, in my opinion, is with the keyboard going to sleep. If the portfolio is closed, iPad is asleep, when opened, iPad wakes up. Keyboard does not until keys are hit a few times, took me a while to figure this out. I was under the impression that the keyboard Bluetooth was damaged and was about to call to send it back. But other reviews mention similar stories, and you can test by looking under Bluetooth Preferences in the iPad when it wakes. It will show the keyboard as "Not Connected" with the spinning wheel of trying to find it. Well it won't until you hit some keys a few times... annoying!

I can't stand typing with the on-screen keyboard because I always end up with more typos then actual words typed correctly. I've been looking around for a good solution, and this is it! It is just like typing on a normal keyboard which saves so much time for me. Also the case provides a great viewing angle. Wish I could give it more than 5 Stars.
Not bad - not greatearlyadopter
Initial impressions were very good - but after a long international business trip, the space needed to stretch this out became restrictive. It's a great build quality but you need to pull the unit quite a way forward to get a decent viewing angle. Also the key feel a little too small. I ultimately went with the ZaggFolio for my needs, much more compact.

The Portfolio works great. I would have given 5 stars if the battery worked longer before needing a recharge, but overall well made.
