Black scuffs on the red caseUgg
I purchased this in the red and promptly received it through Amazon prime. The bag is very attractive and what I expected as far as the design. However, there was a black scuff on the top of the ipad closure and black sticky residue on the front of the bag. Thinking this was an anomaly, I considered exchanging it. After examining it more closely I noticed several other areas on the bag where black is showing through the red, as though the material didn't thoroughly absorb the red dye. Because of this, I decided to return the bag for a refund. I see it's sold out now. I might consider purchasing one from a new lot, but I question the quality of the lot from which this particular bag was part. The price is far too expensive for a bag that becomes unusable after 6 months due to issues with long-term color adherence.

I know new products have to start somewhere, but I am always leery about products that have no or few pictures and especially leery when there are no reviews. I looked at another pretty iPad purse on this site for a while but hesitated because the reviews stated lack of function. This iPad purse however, IS a Great product! It is beautiful and very well made. And the purse side is very functional with a zipper pocket on one side, not one but three places the hold a pen, an open pocket on the other side with plenty of credit card slots, as well as a place to put your phone. There's also enough room in the gap to drop other small items if you need. There are also two different leveled kickstands for hands-free viewing. I hesitated at first because although the description described what was included there were no pictures to show what the inside actually looked like. The purse can be used without the iPad falling out or getting in the way. The iPad can be used without having to take it out of the purse for taking photos or video. This iPad purse is well worth the risk and the price! Well...this update should have been done at the beginning of the year or even earlier. One strap broke off towards the end of last year. I carry no more than my iPhone, lipgloss, a stylist and a couple of Kleenex on the purse side. I believe they broke because both straps are on the same side. I contacted the company privately. Wasn't interested in returning or getting a refund just wanted them to know and told them so. No response. I am handy with monster glue and was able to fix it. Then a couple of months ago be other strap broke off in a place that could not be repaired. I still love the purse because of it's functionality. I would recommend getting the Clutch version If you're interested.

Nice quality and sophisticated. My job is paperless so this all I take on my appointments- no briefcase needed. I have a streamlined iPhone wallet that fits perfectly in the purse section along with lipstick, stylus and business cards with limited bulk.
