Overall pretty goodipadowner
I ordered a couple of these ipad cases the other day, and so far they seems to suit my and my husband's needs pretty well. First, it should be noted that this case fits ipad 1, and I do not believe it would fit ipad 2. In general, the plastic case that the ipad snaps into is a pretty standard clip-on case. It is a pretty thick plastic and has a nice coating on the outside that gives it a matte finish and makes it easier to hold onto. You definitely do not feel like your ipad is sliding out of your hands. I would have preferred that the inside of the plastic be lined with something that might prevent scratching, but in all, the fit is pretty snug, and I am not sure that it will scratch up the back of the ipad much anyway. The selling feature for me was the built in stand and screen protector. The screen protector is also pretty standard. It's really just a thin layer of clear plastic, more to prevent the face of the ipad from scratching than anything else. I have an otterbox case for my iphone, and I would compare the clear plastic screen on this case to the one that is used on the otterbox cases for the iphone. If you are looking for greater protection than that, this is not an ideal product, and I would recommend one of the rubber cases (hard candy makes a great one that has a thick rubber front cover that snaps on at the four corners which provides excellent protection). Again, given that this is a hard plastic snap on case, I also do not believe that the case will be particularly effective in protecting the ipad from drops (though I certainly have not tested that fact, so, who knows, if I do drop it at some point, maybe the case will prove me wrong).Read more ›

This is the best iPad case for sitting in a chair and putting it on the arm rest. It is stable and makes it so easy to view.
