My ipad 4 fit snugly into the straps with only mild obstruction of the headphone jack and the rotation lock. No big deal but I'm deducting one star for that. This case won't put your ipad into a variety of positions without having to use pillows or props but I have a desk stand for that so I wasn't looking for that feature. It also won't turn your ipad on when you open the cover or off when you close it. Didn't want that either. What I love about this case is it's handsome simplicity. It's a kind of old world basic leather case that looks fabulous, feels luxurious and provides a decent amount of protection for your device. Something you'd expect Sean Connery in the movie 'Finding Forester' to be carrying around if he had owned an ipad. It smells good too. I recommend it for all you professor wannabes.
