Exactly what I was looking for in a small portfolio case for my iPad. There are small pouches in which I can carry business cards of my own, as well as placing those of whom I meet, and being able to carry extra paper for "actual notes" and a pen to jot down information on my business cards is great. I also like that there was consideration made to allow the iPad to record from its rear camera.

This case is of excellent build quality! It holds two cards in each of the card holder slots (3 total), not including the ID slot. It also has another compartment behind the card slots; big enough for a small note pad (5x7) or whatever else you want to put in there. It also has a holder along the inner spine for a pen or capacitive stylus. I have a pen the uses the pen cap as a stylus :-)The iPad mini fits perfectly in the designated slot. Also, on the outer back side of iPad's compartment is a little kickstand that snaps in and out of place (uses an actual 'snap button').The zipper is very sturdy and the overall build quality is very high. The material is so exceptional that i can't honestly tell if it's real leather or not. I am very impressed. The front cover has the company logo (iLuv) in silver/chrome letters with an engraved 'New York' right under it so it says, "iLuv New York". To some this might not go over well, but it's just a matter of preference. Personally, I like it.I highly recommend this case. I had to buy it from the iLuv company's website because it's always sold out on Amazon. I had to pay close to full price but I still think it was worth it. If it becomes available on Amazon again at it's discounted price, buy it quickly!I hope my review was helpful.Thanks.01/11/2013 Edit:The leather that houses the iPad Mini has loosened so the iPad Mini moves around a little bit in the housing. This causes the screen to be covered up a little bit on the edges which can be annoying when you need to touch links or read text that are near the edges. You will have to nudge it around to be able to click links or read texts on the edges.Read more ›

I like just about everything about this case. I looked for a while to find the right mix of protection, function, and fluff. I like the storage area as much as any that I have seen. The feel is decently soft leather(ish) material. I sit on the couch a lot and mess with the iPad and, I like that I can fold it in half to view and type. It stands up nicely if needed for a presentation. My iPad is the iPad 2 and it fits nicely into this case and feels very well protected. Something I do like over other similar cases like the RooCase that I returned is that the zippers are high quality, on the RooCase one broke on the 3rd zip. Also, this case is fairly thin when it has no pad in it, and has a nice feel. The only thing it does not have is the magnet shut off and turn on, which I thought would be a must have, but really isn't a big deal. Avoid the roo case that has similar features, it sounded good but returned in three days.

Nice thin case BUT business cards will NOT fit on the side, credit cards yes, business cards no. The manufacturer was not smart enough to make the slots a 1/8 inch wider to fit credit cards or business cards. Don't be fooled by the picture. If it was not for this engineering snafu, it would be 5 stars.

I received the item and although I can say that it is good quality as promised, the material it is made out of absolutely stinks. I'm not certain what chemicals they use to make this thing, but I could smell it before I even opened the shipping box. I have place it now out in my yard in the hot sun in the hope that the sun will "burn" the stink out of it. I will keep it IF I can somehow get it so be mostly absent of smell.

It is a very good product for the money. Only thing is that it does not fit a note pad in its sleeve. To small, even business cards don't fit in there holder. Other wise for the money it's a good case.

This is a deceiving picture. It shows that it holds papers in the left side pocket. But it is so tight that nothing will fit. Had the pocket on the left side been a little looser, you would be able to use it for storing supplies.

I searched for the perfect case for iPad 3 and decided on this. I like the overall look to it, I thought it was leather, but not sure because description doesn't say so. As mentioned in other reviews, smell is a bit overwhelming, but I'll try to wrap with cloth with febreeze. Very functional with card, pad, pen holder...very nice !
