Strap is too loose

This is great product with one big flaw. The tension of elastic strap can not be changed. If you hold the iPad face down (palm down) the weight of the iPad causes a GAP of 1/2 inch. It does not feel secure. Buy only if you have big hands. Women should not buy unless you like wearing gloves. I think I saw somewhere a similar product but with a velcro strap. Get that!!

This particular model does not come with the shoulder strap shown in 4 of the 5 pictures. In fact, due to the way the hand strap attaches to the back side, it's not possible to add one to it. The one pictured with the carry strap is a different model for $6 more : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E3E9BZO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5 . Note that the hand strap on the back and how it attaches is very different between these two, so it's not a simple "shown with optional shoulder strap, not included" type of situation.Our company originally purchased 3 of these to use as mobile POS stations. The carry strap was the deciding factor in purchasing this brand vs. others. When we found that straps weren't included (nor could they be added after the fact) we returned for 3 of the strap-enabled models above. Have been very happy with how they've performed, even in outdoor settings. The strapless model (this page) can be set at a slight angle for, say, viewing on a table down about stomach level. The other model with the shoulder strap can't quite do so as easily. While the straps can be detached, the d-rings they hook to on the back of the case don't let it rest as solidly.It's worth the cost if it meets your needs. I deducted 1 star due to the misleading pictures as well as the fact that the design makes it impossible to add a strap of your own. I don't see it as intentionally deceptive as they do offer the exact model shown for only a few bucks more, but either Amazon or the mfg really should take care that they use the correct pics. Including a link to the strap enabled model on the page for the strapless would help, too. I took another star off as the rubberized edges, while making it nice and durable, do interfere with some brands of headphone jack credit card readers.Read more ›

originally saw on a trade show floor. very nice design that allows holder to show ipad at any angle while keeping a firm grip via the "palm grip" and hand strap. rotate 360 degrees easily. elastic hand strap showing minor wear after daily in-home use after ~18mos. i would recommend this product to a friend as long as they didn't need the full cover w/ prop-up capabilities. you can orient the palm grip so it will provide slight tilt toward user while it's laying on a table.

My employer provided me with the white version of this rotating iPad case, and it was good but the white color quickly got dirty, so I forked out the money to buy the black one and I have been very happy with it. This holder is really great if you need to hold the iPad up to demonstrate things on the screen to others; you can hold it securely with one hand. In addition, when you set the iPad down, the back of the case positions it at a slight angle which is convenient for use.
