Perfect in every way it could be...Actually improves the ipad mini with retina display.And yes, it is real leather and needs to be treated like it.

Not the best product for your money

I purchased this case about six weeks ago, but did not use it until two weeks ago while traveling in Europe. The color of the case has faded and both sides of the fold are cracked and torn. Since this is after only two weeks of use, I must conclude the quality of the leather is substandard. I would advise against buying this product.
