Fast typing with Excellent ProtectionPositiveLogic
I am the happy owner of a Logitech Fabricskin Keyboard for the iPad. While it's a great keyboard case, I knew I wasn't typing as fast as my full potential. So I searched for another keyboard that was more optimized for fast typing. I tried the Clamcase Pro and returned it because slight pressure on the frame would randomly turn it on and off. I considered other keyboards:--Logitech's Ultrathin, provided insufficient protection for the iPad.--Zagg did not allow you to use the iPad in tablet mode unless you took it out of the case--Belkin Ultimate Keyboard, went too extreme in the "thinness" race and people are complaining that the magnetic strips butt up against screen of the iPad in such a way as to cause marks....And universally people are that all these cases are too heavy and bulky.I decided that fast typing and protection for my iPad were my main priorities and I was will to accept trade-offs.So all my research led me to the Logitech Keyboard Folio, a keyboard that the High Tech press has dismissed as being too heavy and bulky. But, with the exception of the Ultrathin that I mentioned above, all the other keyboards I mentioned are pretty much in the same ballpark in terms of weight and bulkiness. It's meaningless to split hairs between an ounce or two here or there.So on the basis of typing speed and protection for my iPad, this is the winner. I have several Logitech Keyboards and this one has the same kind of solid click response that Logitech is known for. Added to that:--You can easily reposition the iPad so that it works as a tablet--It comes in cool colors--The Keyboard itself appears to be the actual Ultrathin itself, merged together with the Electric Blue case.Read more ›

Pros: Productivity, protection, portabilityCons: (for some) it may weigh too much.I love this product it is great. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and yes, at first, the keys were different than a full keyboard. It takes some getting used to but now I am flying through this review on my Keyboard folio. Set up was so basic. My iPad 4 connected right away. It wakes and puts the iPad to sleep which is great. The screen and back is in full coverage which some keyboard folios and cases do not have. Not only that but the keys are very responsive. It is very surprising but as I type all the letters appear just as if I were using a laptop!Next, the function keys. They are great. They are compatible to my iPad which I love and they work great.Now one complaint I found when reviewing multiple keyboards, was this one is "too heavy" or "bulky". Yes it does add some bulk to my iPad. But personally I like this. A bare iPad scares me a little and this adds some "meat" to it. I feel like I am actually holding something but not that it is just going to break in my hands!Along with that, I love the rechargeable keyboard feature. I have been using this a lot, and no charge has been needed yet. The manual claims months of use on one use. I believe it!I went through possibly close to a hundred or more reviews before buying a keyboard/case/folio. I could not decide with all the options. This is a GREAT choice. It does everything I want it too and is sturdy even as I type on my lap. I love it.Thank you Logitech for a great keyboard and folio combined!! I tried many keyboards out at my local Best Buy before buying too. That was very helpful and I would suggest you do that before making a final choice. It is all personal preference, but Logitech Keyboard Folio for iPad 2G/3G/4G is a definite winner for me!:)

I bought this at a brick and mortar store yesterday. It is a great folio, I actually like it better than the Ultraslim, Zaggkeys Profolio+ and the Zaggkeys Pro (yes, I tried a lot of them out).There are only two (small) issues.1 - The Tab and Caps Lock keys are function keys of Q and A. It makes hitting Tab a little awkward when filling out web forms2 - When folding the folio down into "media view" it doesn't snap together magnetically. This would have been a really nice feature as they did with the "type view".Other than those two things, this is a fantastic folio, looks professional and still allows for easy access to the "naked" iPad as it is very very easy to remove the iPad from the case.
Wonderful product but it gets dirty quicklyKenosha
I LOVE this keyboard. It's easy to type on and holds a charge very well. I do wish the keyboard on/off button was a little large or in a clearer location. The base is very stable, and the magnets holding it closed and propped open are good and strong. The plastic pieces are hefty.What I do not love about this keyboard is that the acid green is awesome but after 2 weeks, it already looks dirty. Fabric was not a good choice for a product that goes everywhere. I'm not sure how to clean it. And I'm terrified I'm going to set it in something or something will spill on it. I got this because I didn't want a black case, but black is the only color choice here that wouldn't show every single finger print.
Great Keyboard and Magnet but Case is BulkyObjective1
Been searching for the perfect iPad3 case for months. Each had its pluses and minuses and they are all overpriced.Finally decided to get a case with BT Keyboard. I bought the Zaag Folio (not impressed at all build quality was poor, keyboard was somewhat cheap, and no magnet to hold the iPad in the case.This is a new Logitech model, and its been mostly a good experience. The keyboard feel and layout is weird. The keys are round edged and off center as other reviewers have stated.Not crazy about the so called 2 viewing positions with this case -- seriously it only has one viewing position.The main reason for buying this iPad case over many others, the magnet. It keeps the iPad securely in the folio case, even when in bed or on the couch. That was my main objective and I have been searching for a case that combines BT keyboard, folio protection, and a powerful magnet.As I mentioned, overpriced, but cheaper at local stores than here on Amazon (weird)
