This case is really nice via Amazon. The Mileage may vary part comes in depending on how you use it and how you buy it. Amazon's price is typically the most competitive, it gets sold at retail in boutique types of stores. Definitely not at discount or big box types of places. Also, this case is NOT rugged. Don't get this for 5 and 6 foot drops. All said, the workmanship on the case is outstanding and it will protect your iPad or iPad mini from the elements. If you use it because it looks great and gives you "normal" use case protection, it gets 5 stars solid. If you use it for heavy drops and do things like put it under water.... You're on your own!
