The ZAGG Cover is the most versatile Bluetooth keyboard on the market. It features a unique hinge design that lets you position your screen at virtually any viewing angle. A clever design feature lets you reverse your screen converting the Cover into a convenient, one-piece reader or movie screen. When you're ready to type again, simply flip your screen around and enjoy backlit, island-style keys. A powerful battery keeps the Cover going for up to three months of normal use before it needs to be charged. (Regular use of two hours per day. Using the backlit feature will impact battery life and may require more frequent charging.)

4 out of 5 stars Great device, few quirks

I really like this keyboard. I bought it a month and a half ago at target. There are two faults that keep it from 5 star dom. 1) the case dooes not really fit the mini with retina well and has one little plastic edge holder in the middle on the non-hinge side. The other issue is that the keyboard layout is a little funky.I think/hope I have a not perfect example, because the o button for me is 0 or 2 o's and it is unpredictable which.it makes a great navigation aid in a rental car (i have the cellular iPad) because the hinge is stiff. which is good. The case is slightly rubberized so you open it up all the way to a normal typing angle and slide it all the way up against the windshield.

1 out of 5 stars Edge of keyboard's "palm rest" area damages iPad Mini Retina screen, poor design.

I was pretty happy about this product for my new Ipad Mini Retina. I put a Techarmor screen protector on the unit, popped it into the ZAGG Folio, and used it for about a week. And then I'm trying to figure out what this line is on the screen protector... and it's from where the edge of the "palm rest" area is high enough to gouge a line into the screen.I'm lucky I had a screen protector on there, but if a product (Zagg Folio Case for iPad Mini Retina) is damaging what it is supposed to protect (iPad Mini Retina), it's not doing its job right.

I was impressed by how much I hated this keyboard case. I am a regualr ZAGG customer. The first thing I do when I get a new iPad or iPhone is get a ZAGG cover for it, and their service and products have always been excellent. I had a Zagg Keys keyboard for my 3rd Gen IPad and was very happy with it. However, they really blew it on this one. I was never sure when typing how many times each letter was going to appear when I hit the key, maybe once, maybe twice, sometimes 3 times. I was always sure, however that the backspace key would delete AT LEAST two spaces. I returned it, and am much happier with my cheaper and better quality New Trent case.

ProsFantastic keys, good layout, good tactile, backlitEasy in easy out no fussing aboutRelatively protectiveCan be found for a reasonable priceOnly one con - they left out a spotlight key. Which stinks but is literally the only negative to say.The keyboard paired easily, wake sleep works for both the iPad and keyboard. It's a very quick way to travel with epthe ipad Has great virewing angles for a stand though there's one not so sweet spot where it gets a bit too heavy but most of the 130* viewing angle works great. Finally, zagg won me back big time with their customer support. It went from mediocre five years ago to outstandingly. They're the only company with lifetime replacement screen protectors that actually makes it easy to get a reolacemt. They went out if their way several times in a few purchases and have win me back as a customer. Above some less expensive so,unions.Compared to the logitech offeringsThe fabricksiin has an awful layout with a super wide a and function enabled caps lock..I don't know why they didn't keep the same keyboard layout as the Smart Cover..their Smart Cover well once you use backlit, it's too handy to give up.If you have a screen protector this is a better choice than the other zagg cover, which looks a bit sexier but offers no rear lrotection and won't work with a glass protector or many others. This is a lot more practical than their other cover. The portfolio weights within an ounce of the cover.I'd like to see them change the finish a bit. It's functional and dirabke but a bit bland.I e tried basically every major keyboard and this to me is the best out there right now functionally.Read more ›

I own and regularly use this during the week and when I am "traveling" (around town or business trips) and the Logitech ultraslim keyboard at home on the weekends. I actually prefer the tactile feel and the Logitech is more touch typist friendly than this Zagg but the Zagg is ultimately better because the case is so amazing, wonderful grip, and the backlighting is a MUST and godsend - especially in the wee hours of night or morning or on the plane or in meetings when the lights are off and they're presenting on a projector, etc
