5 out of 5 stars A great case for the money
Chuck

I liked the fact that the product contained a detachable keyboard and provided a nice viewing angle for the use of the ipad. The price was reasonable and the item looks good. By doing this it met my needs for an inexpensive way to both protect my device and increase the functionality. I previously had a case with non-removable silicon keys. In addition to requiring a much heavier touch, the top row of keys rarely worked. This case solves that problem. The only suggestion I would make for improvement to the case woud be the inclusion of a stylus (not a big deal either way).

Selecting a right case for iPad is not easy and is highly dependent on one's iPad usage. This cover is definitely an excellent choice for those who use their iPad practically all day for typing, conducting their business, writing, blogging, and traveling etc. This carrying case will provide you:- A very sturdy and solid base to use iPad as a monitor.- A sleek keyboard with very silent keys which is magnetically attached to the case and can be removed easily.- Magnetic on/off.- Multimedia buttons and a search button.- Ability to use iPad as a monitor or in flat horizontal position. It does not have an option to rotate iPad to a vertical position. It will definitely add lot of bulk to your iPad and that has to be really acceptable for you. Overall, it will become slightly thicker than a US quarter. Check my image for thickness comparison in the customer images section of this product. The extra safety provided by this carry case is definitely a plus, if you carry your iPad daily to work and make it robust to sustain rough handling.Value for money is ok, if this case is priced somewhere around fifty-sixty range.

3 out of 5 stars Bulky.

Keyboard is awkward. Can't put my finger on exactly why but the keyboard layout is awkward...doesnt have the QWERTY feel. Very bulky. I mean extremely bulky and heavy. also the ipad is almost vertical when opened and trying to type on keyboard. so it falls back easily. Returning it.

Nice keyboard. I wish Adesso had made a stop when the keyboard is positioned at 45 degrees. Trying to read in an airplane seat when the iPAD is at the angle in the photograph is painful, so I used two velcro squares to stop the iPAD from sliding off the front. I can do all this without taking the keyboard out.Otherwise it is a nice folio with a keyboard.

3 out of 5 stars Very Handy Bluetooth Keyboard, But Negatives Outweigh The Positives

I was greatly interested in the possibilities of of the Adesso Capagno3 Bluetooth Keyboard and Case. Although I've only had my iPod for a short while, I know use it for almost 90% of my "computer time". However, there are still times where using your finger/stylus to type out an e-mail or post on Facebook or a blog takes way too much time - thus I have been looking for a good bluetooth keyboard.Positives:1) The keyboard is very slim2) It fits very well in the case and does not fall out easily. However, it is also easy to remove and replace back into the case.3) The scissor case has a nice leather feel, is padded, and automatically shuts off your iPad when closing.4) It was VERY easy to sync the keyboard to the iPod and the on/off switch is small and convenient to use.5) The feel of the keyboard is very pleasant while typing and I found it to be similar to a notebook keyboard in use.Negatives:1) Although slim, the keyboard is pretty heavy. So heavy that the iPod, plus the case, plus the keyboard is a pretty heavy load.2) The one time I did some major, multi-page-length, typing, the keyboard started freaking and would put two or three of the same characters up from time to time. This happened so often, during this one instance, I finally turned the keyboard off and finished what I was doing using my finger/stylus. And this happened very early after I got the keyboard so it wasn't because the batteries were going out.3) The case is too floppy when you stand the iPod up to act like a "monitor" while using the keyboard. Even when using a very large, rigid, lap desk, the iPad kept falling closed because there is only one vertical position for this case and it is nearly straight up and down.Read more ›

5 out of 5 stars Excellent buy

I bought one with cosmetic flaws, so it only cost me about half the regular price. I did a lot of reading about different types of keyboardcases before I settled on this one, and I think I made the right choice. The keyboard is not too small and most of the keys are in their normal places (the ctrl key is the main one that is off from where I'm used to it), but it's easy to get used to it.The case is solid and I feel like the iPad is quite protected in it. This is without sacrificing too much extra weight or bulk. The smart cover is a very important feature. A lot of other cases won't turn off your screen when you close the case, but this one does. Don't get a case that doesn't have this feature or you will regret it.I have the newest version of the iPad (4) and it fits the case perfectly. The keyboard detaches, which is nice, but I rarely find myself taking it off to do any distance typing. Still, it's nice to have that option. As forthw charge, I had to charge it for about 15 minutes when I first got it, and haven't had to charge it once in the month that I've had it (and that's with accidentally leaving the keyboard on overnight a few times).I have two complaints.1- The rear camera is really awkward to use while the case is on. You can use it, but you have to keep the keyboard open (laptop style) because if you open it all the way (tablet style) the keyboard part of the case will block the camera. I usually have to take it out of the case if I want to take more than just one or two pictures. The pro is that for recording videos you have a built in stand.2- The case only holds itself in landscape. 99% of the time this isn't a problem, but sometimes I wish I could have typing functionality while having the iPad oriented in portrait mode.Read more ›
