5 out of 5 stars Pay the $$ and get the real deal

Looked at other cases similar for much less...but decided on this one. I have no problems with the case fitting snug around the tablet. There are soft rubber inserts in all four corners to hold the tablet in the case, and two longer rubber inserts hold it when typing; the typing angle is comfortable and seems to be at the right angle for me. Also, the keyboard syncs up perfectly every time, even if I turn it off and on in between uses. This was a common problem with the other brands and has not happened to me at all...once I synced it, it recognizes my tablet right away. I have NOT noticed any problems with the BT connection at all in terms of keystrikes, (i.e. I press "t" and I type "ttttttttttt") so I am happy that this problem is not occuring. I have learned not to hold down the backspace button for too long, however, because for some reason it doesn't register as quickly as the other keys...I guess that could be considered ghosting, but not grounds to return for me personally. Chiclet keys feel clicky and responsive, and the keyboard seems plenty spacious to me.Haven't had issues with the soft keyboard popping up in many programs, (except Amazon believe it or not!); that is a software issue anyway and not really the keyboard's fault, but some people have blamed it and I wanted to set the record straight.Hint...in the same packaging as the charging cable, there will be what looks like a piece of thick, white plastic. If you look closer, you will see four round circles, which will pop out with a little pressure. These are complimentary rubber feet with adhesive on the back, which you can place in the four corners of the tablet as extra insurance against scratching, slippage, etc. It could easily be overlooked, so make sure to look for it if you want.Happy with my purchase...and yes I typed this review on the keyboard!

4 out of 5 stars Great physical keyboard for Galaxy Tab 10.1
D.N.Wijewardane

I tried to purchase this from Logitech's site (which botched up my order) and ordered painlessly on Amazon Prime, hats off to Amazon again. It is a great, high quality physical keyboard for the Tab (works only with the Tab Wifi version only). I did not have problems with the sharp edges described by the previous reviewer - yes it is abit sharp on the sides but you are unlikely to impale yourself on it.Contrary to confusion on whether this keyboard only works with the portrait version of the Tab (as in the Amazon photo), it works with landscape and portrait orientations. All you do is to lift off the Tab, orient it whatever way you want and simply slide it at a slant into the groove on the keyboard. However, remember that nothing holds the Tab securely in the groove except gravity! So if in a car etc. it is possible for the Tab to jerk out if you hit a major hole...That said it is easy to lift the Tab off from the keyboard and use it in bed etc.Overall, keys are well spaced, have good tactile feel (abit softish but fine), don't wobble on the edges as some keys do in some other cheaper keyboards, are well integrated with the Tab ie there is a Home button, email and browser buttons etc. The cursor keys are at bottom right and work fine, though it would have been nice if they were abit larger. Keys are not backlit. The keyboard must be charged up separately from the Tab (a short USB wire is bundled to connect to any PC/Mac for charging and the charge is retained for like a week+....good).There are 2 buttons on the keyboard: one for ON/OFF of the keyboard itself, the other for Bluetooth ON/OFF. The keyboard connects seamlessly and in about 2 seconds with the Tab.Read more ›

4 out of 5 stars great and sturdy with just one defect
Amazon Customer

i actually got this at Target where it cost about $20 less, but it appears to be exactly the same product by logitech/zagg.anyway, it really does what it's supposed to ... strongly protects the tablet (and yet you can still slide both of them fitted together into a slightly roomy ipad-sized tablet sleeve!) also it's a good keyboard with no discernible defects. i had some learning curve getting to know the keys that were and weren't there (i guess it's an android thing because some of them are tailored to android buttons, this is not a generic keyboard... so that's a good thing)the only problem is that the aluminum edges are kind of sharp. i wish the inner firm rubber (soft plastic?) padding material came out to cover the entire top edges of the "tray". if they had done it that way, this thing would be perfect. i may add a little foam or rubber strip along the top edges where i prefer to grip it.as it is, just don't grab it that way (rather, hold it more from underneath) and you will be perfectly comfortable. it's probably the sturdiest such keyboard/stand that i looked at. also because of the way it's cut out, the metal edges don't bother you at all when you have it on a table and are typing.also the colors go nicely with the tablet if you chose the metallic grey version (which i did). i didn't like the white samsung official keyboard: it looked like it was trying to be an ipad product. nothing wrong with either kind of tablet, i think they are both great... but i don't think samsung tablet products need to act like "ipad wannabe", as they are good products already.
