I received this at no cost to use on my iPhone 4S in exchange for writing a review. Here are my comments.1. Apple is still behind the times by not yet offering a phone with built in wireless Qi charging ability, which permits charging a device wirelessly by placing the device on a Qi pad. So current Apple iPhone users who want that convenience need to buy a case that permits their iPhone to use the Qi technology. That's what this case does.Note: Rumor has it that the new iPhone 6 that is supposed to come out this Fall will have built in Qi technology.2. This is a really nice white rubber case. It's lightweight yet durable, and very easy to slip on and off. Why might that be an important feature? You'll find out later on.3. I have a couple of Qi chargers at home that I use for my Nexus 2013, which has built in Qi charging capability, and this case works fine on each of them, as well as on a Qi portable charger pad (again in white) that I received from the company.4. It's very convenient to use Qi charging. Just place the iPhone on a Qi pad to charge and remove it when you want to use it. No dock pins to line up and no cable to use.Note: This case comes with a screen protector and does provide some protection. But if you want the "armor" of a case like those made by Otterbox, this is not for you.5. However using a Qi case rather than having a phone with built in Qi technology does have certain limitations because when the case is on your iPhone the bottom charging port is no longer accessible.Read more ›

I own the IPhone 5s and was asked to test the Trident Qi system. Frankly, I didn't even know such a thing existed, nor what the possible uses might be.This is a Qi wireless charging case, that allows you to have several options to charge your phone without having to plug it in, thus...wireless! ;-)When the IPhone is in the Qi case (which is really nice looking, light, and slim), the case becomes compatible with any Qi products. The case is a white, soft- touch polycarbonate material. It came with a screen protector that was a very nice feature. I feel the phone is well protected in this case, which is very simple to slip on and off. It did not affect my screen protector at all.The only product I have been able to try it with so far, is the Electra Qi single wirless charging pad. This pad is really cool looking and very thin. It is white with a grey anti skid ribbon on it. The unit is sized at 4.25" x 3,5". It is extremely light, and has a very small footprint, and it has 4 anti skid feet on it. The unit is very stable on my desk. The unit has a led light on it that is red, until you out your phone on it, and the. It blinks green to indicate the charging status. Nice touch. The Qi pad comes with it's own USB AC adapter and a USB to micro -cable. The manual says it supports 1 Amp devices, like digital cameras, other phones and MP3 players...but I digress). The unit uses inductive charging. What I love about it, is now, instead of searching for a cord to plug my iPhone in, I just place it on my desk, on the small Qi pad, and it is automatically charging while it is just lying there. It might not sound like much, but in the two days I tested it, I have found my iPhone is almost fully charged all the time.Read more ›
