Read an online review on another site that indicated this keyboard case would work with the new iPad as well. Wrong. The security case is just too tight for the new iPad. Have notified the other reviewer. I was really looking forward to having a keyboard case that provided the security of the Kensington Security case and click safe lock system for office and conference use. Perhaps Kensington will update this to accommodate the slightly thicker new iPad. If the new iPad fit, I would have kept the case.The keyboard, like most iPad folio keyboards, is a bit cramped compared to a standard keyboard but I had no problems adjusting to it. Folks with large hands may find the keyboard more cramped than I did. The keys are responsive with no lag. iPad specific keys are included along the top row. Especially liked that the shift keys on both sides are "normal size"(almost twice the size of the letter keys) and the direction keys are below the right hand shift key.The glossy black finish on most of the security case provides a pleasing contrast to the matte finish of the sliding lock piece and the non-slip pleather that makes up the rest of the case. If you have to type with your iPad in your lap/on your knees, the non-slip material holds well. I don't know how much drop protection the hard plastic case provides, but I don't think this case (or my iPad) would hold up well against a corner drop. That said, drop protection is not the primary function of this case-it is lock security akin to what we're used to for laptops with the benefit of a bluetooth keyboard folio.

Product was awesome. I really liked the detachable keyboard and everything worked as expected. Keyboard a little small but easy to type on. Good product; definitely recommend.
