1st of all, the Gripster looks very good and smart, which is pretty unusual for a versatile iPad case with that amount of features.It's thin, light, but also look so good I'm actually very proud to put it on the table or just carry it with the handle.I work at a start'up, and working from anywhere, anytime is my lifestyle. Non of the previous solutions I used gave me this level of satisfaction, in any situation, Gripster makes using my iPad a pleasure. In train, planes, car, the stand makes it to the exact angle I need to type, the strap is perfect for browsing, but also when presenting my company to others. I don't need to put any force to carry my iPad anymore, neither have to put my fingers on the screen to hold the iPad. It's exactly what I needed, even my girlfriend loves it as she doesn't need to stuff a pillow behind the iPad when watching a movie in the bed.I just love my Gripster, and can't remove it from my iPad now. If you are a heavy iPad user, I strongly recommend you this unique solution.

The gripster works as advertised except that the magnets don't hold the cover flush to the screen when closed. As a result the ipad can go in and out of sleep mode. If they fix this design flaw, possibly by moving the magnets further towards the edges of the case, then it will definitely be the best case on the market.

And what was inside is even more attractive. The Gripster Wrap is very well constructed, oozing style and quality.Build quality, choice of materials and versatility set the Gripster Wrap in a class of its own.The Gripster Wrap design:• ABS housing: The iPad fits into place like a glove and is securely held in position by corner tabs and a strip along the right. The cut-outs and camera hole line up perfectly, making for a solid and secure grip on the iPad, whilst retaining easy access to the volume and sleep buttons.• The thin folio style front cover literally wraps over itself and stows away neatly and unobtrusively to the rear. It is made of a very soft silicone / leather material. Six thin yet very strong magnetised metal strips are sandwiched in between. This combination offers optimal protection for the screen and looks the business.• The Stand is the star of the show adjusting to any tilt angle and 8 rotational positions. It feels very solid, providing a firm and convincing click when deployed. I recently picked up this case at a local Tech store in Manhattan.My main criteria for a case was something that would make the iPad Air easier to hold, especially when lying down. I of course also wanted something that would protect the screen, protect from falls, something that was light and not bulky, and something that had a versatile stand that would accommodate any angle and any orientation.This thing does the job better than anything else i could find!The Front Cover - Great design. It rolls up into 8 sections and when you roll it all the way back, it magnetically sticks flush to the back side of the case and completely out of the way. I think this is much better than the 3 or 4 slates that you get from most other "smart" covers. The cover also controls the magnetic sleep wake function well. It covers the front completely. The outside is a soft synthetic material. Inside is also a soft cloth like material. Seems durable. The cover stays flush to front of the iPad all the way though.The Back Case - this is where the product loses a star, its hard plastic so if this thing does get dropped, i dont know how well it will absorb the impact and stop the ipad from shattering. I wish it was slightly rubberized like a hard TPU, or a softer material like the Apple Smart Case. But overall i think it will protect pretty well from short drops and any and all scratches.The Stand - This is by far my favor aspect of this case. The stand adjusts to any angle and can be oriented horizontally or vertically. It is also great for holding the iPad when reading, you can slip your hand through the handle. It can be positioned in 8 different angles so you can hold the iPad at a 45 degree angle to your hand which is more natural than 90 degrees.Read more ›
