I purchased a total of 3 Kraken cases for my daughters. I have to say that this case rocks!!! It has been dropped, thrown and abused by a 8, 10 & 13 year old as well as our cat who loves the Cat vs Human game.

I purchased the balistic green iPad 2 Kracken 2 case. Installation was a breeze and it fit well. I like the color but I think it might look better if the rubber part was green and the protective shell was black. My iPad 2 has been carried around quite a lot but never dropped so I can't say if the case will actually keep the iPad from breaking but the case does seem sturdy and solid. I was hesitant to buy a case that had a screen protector because on my phone I had screen protector and I did not like the touch response. It caused a delay and the screen didn't always respond (it was not a Kracken product though). The Kracken 2 case is great. Screen responds to touch with no problems and is very smooth and fast. So I am happy to have the screen protector.The only thing I'm not wild about is the 2 latches at the top. They stick out. I do understand that they help keep the Kracken 2 securely in place and they do a great job, but I wish they were more flat and rounded. They kind of have a sharpish edge to them. Other than that I'm perfectly happy with the case and would buy another one in the future if needed.

This is a great product. It covers the screen as well as protects the ipadnvery well. I would recommend this to anyone who takes their iPad to harsher places and uses it often.Cons are that you have to hold it up on your own, as there is no stand on the back.Also the two top clips are too big

An awesome case. Looks cool, feels cool, and boosts my self esteem.as described, except for one little thing...the screen cover is not as durable as they lead me to believe.i think i looked at it wrong and marred it... actually, it scuffed reallyand now has a 1/4 inch line in the middle of the screen.done by a fingernail trying to wipe a dried on food particle.(yuck, right?) It protected the screen, and the scuff is only on theexterior surface. since you have to use your hands to use the iPad,i thought that it would hold up to that.Also, as you can't replace the screen cover (being part of the shell),it's now a week old, and will be scarred for life.so...LOVE THE CASE, would buy again, but warn you of it's ever so slight limitation...more like, super slight design flaw.

So, I've only had this for a day, but so far it seems very sturdy. It was incredibly easy to install and fits perfectly. My only minor issue with the product itself is that the screen protector seems to show fingerprints more than the actual screen, but that could be due to the heat and humidity creating a sweaty user.I'm not sure what happened during shipping, but the packaging inside the box was not sealed at all. All parts were there, but the silicone sleeve needed a little cleaning before use.

This is a great case! I work in the concert industry, and my electronics live a pretty rough life. I needed a case that could take the rigors of daily life on the road. This case meets the demands of a busy lifestyle. All of my connectors fit well in the power and audio ports, everything is easy to get to. If I had a con, which this is not a problem for me, but the latches at the top are annoying when you turn the iPad sideways. For me, not an issue, I use mine the other direction most of the time and hold it by the nice padded side grips. Overall, if you need a nice, protective case, but don't want to shell out the money for an Otterbox, buy this case!
Pretty solid caseToothsquatch
I wasn't sure I liked the case at first, but it has grown on me. After seeing it get dropped by my kids it took a pretty good beating and protected the iPad. The screen protector is a plus and easy to clean.... After my youngest barfed on the iPad when he was sick the other morning and it was easy to clean and there was no leakage to the iPad screen. I would definitely buy it over the other "box" type ones.
