I've been cruising the area's electronic stores for awhile now looking for a combination case/keyboard for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Trust me their are a lot of posers out there crowding up valuable shelf space. That said, it was a no brainer to jump at the opportunity to test drive this Belkin edition. After a little over a week's use these are my thoughts.Out of the box, this baby looks impressive. Measuring in at 0.8" x 8.5" x 11.4" it easily accommodates my Tab3. The outer shell is better then most and will provide a good degree of protection. Connecting was quick and easy. Not only did this case/keyboard marry up with my Tab 3, it also connected with several other tron devices nearby. I like the overall weight and feel. The stand feature is one of the few out there that works as advertised. I was able to set it up at different angles. It converts easily for handheld mode.The keyboard was better then I thought it was. The keys were fluid and not as sticky or sensitive. By no means are they as tiny as I've seen with the cheap knockoffs. The shortcut key menu is sweet and allows me to regulate volume as well as copy and paste text at will. Maybe it was me but it does seem that my typing was a bit faster then usual. I found it very comfortable to type. Fully charged I got about 70 hours before it was time to hit the juice. Charging up via the included USB cable took only a couple of hours.Overall I really like this Belkin product. With my Tab3 and this combination case and keyboard in the house, its getting very hard to even think about pulling out the laptop. Undoubtedly the company hit this one out of the park.

Good, except for the following flaws:(There are a lot of advantages, but I think disadvantages are much more important to mention. I am not a native English speaker. Sorry if there is any mistake. I tried my best to make sense and hope this comment is helpful.)1. It cannot lock the screen automatically when I close the case.2. It wakes up screen if any key is pressed unintentionally, even when the case is closed.3. I cannot know how much percentage of battery is charged.4. The stand is too sensitive and is withdrawn unexpectedly if I unintentionally touched it, which puts my iPad in danger of falling down to the table.5. It may be the flaw of iPad. There is no keyboard shortcut for switching between screens, pressing the "Send" key in iMessages, selecting and opening an icon by its initial as in a folder in Windows. Maybe iPad is not designed to work with a keyboard. So do not expect the keyboard to replace the touch screen completely.
Great keyboard, not so great caseLon J. Seidman
It seems like there are always compromises when it comes to keyboards on the iPad and other tablets. This one is no different. The keyboard is great- perhaps among the best iPad keyboards I've used - but the case is just mediocre.The iPad air is held in by two straps that I can see the iPad slipping out of under the right conditions. There are magnets to hold the case together when closed that oddly work better when there's no iPad in the case than when it is strapped in. The case flexes quite a bit and doesn't hold itself together very well when walking. The keyboard section on my review unit curves a bit, causing the keyboard to flex up and down as I'm typing.Case issues aside the keyboard is actually usable and I found myself able to type more accurately as compared to other iPad keyboards I've reviewed. This is attributed to a rather sane keyboard layout that allows for keys very close to full size. They are not quite as big as the keys on my iPad Air but the spacing as well as full size shift keys and space bar make for a very comfortable and familiar keyboard.If the keyboard was attached to a better case this would be a better product.

The keyboard itself is great and nearly resembles a full size keyboard. Notably it has 2 shift keys which not all tablet keyboards have.The case is good enough: stylish and attractive.The stand however stinks. It always falls down and, as others have said, doesn't have a great range.All in all, an average product. Personally, I found the best solution for a keyboard to be a stand alone Bluetooth keyboard (like this one by Anker Anker%C2%AE Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard Tablets with a separate stand (like this Multi Angle E readers Smartphones Compatible Transformer and neoprene case to carry it all in.

I'm writing this review using the Belkin keyboard and am enjoying it much more than the on-screen SwiftKey keyboard (which is by far the best Android screen keyboard). It's a no-brainer addition to your Galaxy Tab 3 10.1" tablet if you do any amount of typing on a regular basis.Pros:Sync's right up without any issueGood quiet keys a with plenty of travelCase can stand at multiple angles using the kickstandKickstand seems solid: no wobbleFits Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 like a glove (but don't try it with anything else!)Con:While the keys are comfortably spaced, they had to squeeze things by putting keys in unexpected places in order to make it fit. There is one key less per row on each row... this means the "quote," "slash," and "backslash" keys are not where you expect them to be. For me personally this would be a deal breaker if another keyboard managed to squeeze them in where they should be. Since the Tab 3 10.1" is very small (not much wasted space around the edges of the screen), it may be hard to squeeze everything in... if so I would just go with a bigger tablet... the Nexus 10" is a little wider and if Belkin made a keyboard just like this for it, but with the keys in the right place, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat. (hint, hint, Belkin.)That is, however, the only "con." If you can live with the key layout, it's really a great keyboard.Wish list - there's room for a track pad too... give us that and we'd be in heaven.
