I have been looking for a good back pack for a while now, and recently got this Case Logic 15.6.I use the backpack on a daily basis, going to the library and the university. I carry my laptop, one or two small books, charger, library lock, wallet, lunch and small toiletries pouch.The positive elements:For my purposes the bag works great. : I use one for the keys, one for uni-ID, one for iphone. I could do with two.The pocket between your back and the backpack (the *secret* compartment) is amazing for traveling. I keep my passport and boarding pass there, and it makes life much easier.The inside pockets are nicely designed, especially the laptop pocket, which is well padded. I use the tablet pocket for my daily organizer, and I can see how it would work very well with an ipad. The main pouch is big, it fits my lunch and everything else I throw in there comfortably. So far I have only used it for papers, and a couple of small books. I can see the bag would easily carry a large text book, or two, but it would become very heavy.I love the 3 handles (two on top, one in the bottom) for lifting the bag when it is heavy. Great feature.Since it has not rained since I got it, I cannot say how it protects things from water, but I will update once I have that too.The adjustable and movable chest strap is great for women who might need to move the strap way above or below the breast area.Price: The back gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Having bought other bags in the past (and returned them because they were so cheaply made), I can say, at the same price, with only a 10 dollar plus, this bag offers a real upgrade in terms of make and features.Read more ›

I was looking for a backpack that I could use for traveling on planes as well as long road trips for business and this perfect. The back is padded and straps have a decent amount of cushion to them so even when it is loaded down it is still very comfortable. Love all of the many compartments for cords and chargers and especially the lower side ones that I stuff water bottles into, that's what sold this bag for me.

Without revealing much, I go to a very rigorous school and I carry a lot of books around. Something to the tune of 20-25 pounds per day. Not fun.For about half of the year, this worked, but it has slowly ripped, not just the backpack but the zippers and other things.If you are carrying around a laptop and an iPad this is fine. I would not recommend this for heavy things, but otherwise it is great.
